Return your core, get your refund
A core charge is a refundable deposit on your old battery. Bring it back and you get every cent of it returned.
What is a “core”?
The core is your spent battery. Lead-acid batteries are almost entirely recyclable — the lead, plastic and acid all get reprocessed into new batteries. The core charge is how the industry makes sure those materials actually come back instead of ending up in a landfill.
How the refund works
- 1 A core charge (shown on the product page) is added at checkout.
- 2 Return your old battery of the same type — in store or to the delivery driver.
- 3 We refund the core charge in full, to your original payment method.
No rush — bring the core back within 30 days. Keep your receipt or order number so we can match the refund.
