How our warranty works
Warranty length depends on the battery. Every product page shows that battery’s own coverage — we never flatten them all to one number.
Two parts to most warranties
A typical automotive battery carries a 6-year total basic warranty:
Other categories — AGM, powersport, deep cycle, SLA — have their own terms. The figure on the product page is the one that applies to that battery.
The testing process
Every warranty claim is checked for manufacturer-based problems through the same series of tests: voltage, load capacity, the battery’s ability to hold a charge, and sulfation testing when possible. A battery that fails from a defect is covered. One that failed from damage, deep discharge or a charging-system fault usually isn’t — and we’ll tell you which it is.
Making a claim
Bring the battery in
To either store, with your receipt or the order number. No appointment needed.
We test it
Voltage, load capacity, charge retention and — where possible — sulfation. The same tests every time.
Free replacement or pro-rated credit
Inside the free-replacement period you get a new battery. After that, a pro-rated credit toward a replacement based on time remaining.
